I think that registry management/editing functions are selectable options during install.

I chose that option, and have the 'Norton Registry Editor' and 'Norton Registry Tracker' utilities available when clicking the 'Registry Management' tab.

Check the setup program on the Norton CD.

Hope this helps!

don't see it... i chose "complete installation" during setup, and there was no "customize" option for me to pick.

no registry editor...?

What OS is your friend using? I think registry management is enabled in Win9x/WinMe but not in WinXP/Win2K.

ah... that may be the problem then... my friend is using 98 SE and i'm using XP... when i do the "one button checkup" it says it does the registry though. (even if there are no utilities to do that manually)
thanks a lot guys! :D I'll jus use regcleaner then.... :)

personally i don't like norton at all cuz it makes compouters run twice as slow thanks to everything it installs, including the crappy protection bin., regcleaner is one of the best out there!
