I've had this installed for months now and recently whenever I've used Xfire I get these security popups telling me Xfire is trying to connect to the internet and should I permit or block it, and I hit permit every time but they still pop up once every 5-7 seconds. I tried disabling auto-protect but that didn't work. So what can I do to stop these popups?

Its that fun little thing called "Worm Protection" that symantec added. Either disable it, or remove the program from your list, and then click on Permit the next time it prompts you, it shouldn't come up again.

And yes, Norton is pretty stupid sometimes. Although I really do like it. It's probably saved me multiple times from certain questionable pr0n site popups.
