Norton System Works 2005

I used to use Norton System Works 2003 for anti virus, system cleanup etc. until I felt it seemed to cause more problems than it fixed.

Also seemed to be a real resource hog.

Same for Norton System Works 2005?

Your experiences would be appreciated.

Avoid it like the plague. Out of the entire suite, NAV is the only program you might possibly need.

I've had pretty good luck with Norton....I use the 2004 edition. Of course I use the antivirus but also use the disk defragmenter and Windows system doctor regularly. Never had any problems. I don't know why you would think it's a resource hog. NAV doesn't take up alot of memory and you don't need to load up anything else if you don't want to.
