I have Norton System Works 2000. Is there anything new in 2001 that I am missing?

Latest versions on NAV and some Utilities tweaks. I'm not bothering to do the upgrade. I had v.1, v.1.1 and SW2K and there's not enough new in it.

Yep. Works like a norton product in Windows 2000 (I'll leave it up to you whether that's good or bad)

I doubt the 2000 Norton products work correctly in WIndows 2000. 2001 products do though. Norton is VERY slow to update things to work correctly with new operating systems. Hopefully MS will slow down so Symantec can catch up :)

Shudder--I think I've seen reported on the forums, that NAV in System Works 2000 will work on W2K. My guess is that is the only thing.

I believe even Norton says that if you are only running W9x, no need to upgrade to SW 2001.

Thanks again.

Oh, another thing. It seems that after one of the last Live Updates, Live Update has quit working on many systems. Norton has a bunch of gobbledy-beloved patriot on their site about it. I was going to try some of the crape, but then, saw a Live Update install file in the Norton directory on my drive, so, what the hey. Uninstalled just Live Update in install/uninstall programs, ran the Live Update install, and it worked. Has a different look to it, and downloaded ~2.5 MB on its first update, but.....it worked.
