Norton Speedisk - Can I move the pagefile to beginning of drive?

I've heard a few people mention that you can move the pagefile (I'm using Win2K) to the beginning of the drive. Do I just add pagefile.sys to the list of files first in drive options? Is this safe to do? I think I'm gonna make an image before I try this just in case.
