Norton Speeddisk is causing problem, seeking solution.

Hi,
everytime i use Norton Speeddisk to defrag my drive, i get an "explorer illegal operation" on the next restart. and i need to reinstall windows again.

i remember someone told me the solution(like backing up some files). can someone remind me again...
