Norton Speeddisk and dualbooting...

There is this very annoying problem I'm having using Norton Speeddisk and dualbooting 98SE and 2k where after optimizing with Speeddisk, the 98 partition becomes unbootable, but I can still boot into 2k using the usual bootmenu. I found the documentation on Symantec's site about this problem, but their solution does not work, and it forces me to reformat. Does anyone know if there is a real fix for this?

Now that someone told me this I think I will be moving to diskeeper 6.. even though I've defragged many times with Speedisk and had no probs with dual booting 98/2k.
