Norton Security Scan?

Okay, I built a new system less than 5 days ago and loaded Windows 7 on it. I turn my system on tonight and see an icon for Norton Security Scan where there was not one before...I haven't loaded Norton anything on this computer, in fact, the only thing I've loaded on it so far has been Firefox and Bit Defender Antivirus. I don't want Norton ANYTHING on this system!

This POS software keeps popping up periodically asking me if I want to install Norton Security Scan to keep my computer safe. How the hell did it even get on my system to begin with? Part of Windows update perhaps? I'm pretty angry about this quite honestly.

Google Pack could have been bundled with it. I think that Java or Flash came with it recently, but you always have the option to deselect it.

Yeah, I might have just clicked okay without realizing it had some bullshit bundled with it I didn't want. I uninstalled it from control panel, we'll see if it really is gone.

Or maybe it was Adobe Reader, I can't remember. Anyway, I just worked on a system a few days ago, did a clean install of everything, and remember seeing Norton Security Scan offered while installing one of the aforementioned apps.
