Norton pop-up every 15 seconds

I'm getting this pop up window from Norton every 15 seconds for some reason. It just started happening today. It's giving some kind of security message, but I can't read it because it pops up then goes away after a fraction of a second. I have Norton SystemWorks 2003. Anyone ever had this problem? I seriously do not even have time to read it, although it's just a couple of sentences, with a single checkbox it looks like you can uncheck. I'm sitting here hovering my mouse where the checkbox should appear and trying to quickly click on it but I can't. Very strange, and very annoying!

Hmm messages are saying my computer is at risk and that I have virus protection turned off. Even though NAV is enabled! I think I'm done with Norton AV - this is complete crap

Sounds like something on the box (malware) is closing that box. Not really enough info, but at first blush I'll guess that your infected with something.

Look in the security logs/reports to see what it's trying to tell you.
