Norton Internet Security 2008 Live Update question?

Today I upgraded from Norton Internet Security 2007 to 2008 and when I run Live Update it no longer shows what I'm downloading or the progress of each update I'm downloading.

When I run Live Update it just shows:
Check for updates
Download Updates
Process Updates

I would like to see the size of each download and the progress in action.

Any ideas how I can get this back?

I will ask the team, but LU is expected to run in the background like automatic updates and just 'work'...

Thanks, I'm only on a dial up connection so I have automatic updates turned off and just download them manually.

Norton 2007 had the live update where I could see each update and the progress as it was downloading.

I hope I can get this back again.

Thanks, I just uninstalled Norton Internet Security 2008 as it was a Huge mess and really screwing up my computer.

I had no problems with 2007 so I guess I just install 07 again.

What does everyone here recommend for Internet Security/Antivirus software?

Can you elaborate, 2008 should have even less of a system impact than 2007.

I had a problem with the live update where it would bring my computer to a crawl and lock up the whole program where it would not respond at all.

I used the Norton removal tool and uninstalled 08 and went back to 07 and everything is fine again.

I want to try 08 again but will wait until I get the program on a disc.

I think the free upgrade from Symantec just installed 08 over 07 and that could have been my problem.

I'm not sure.

Bluntly hard to diagnose with just that, but I'll ask the team if they are aware of any issues which sound similar.
