How many people use "Ghost" here to image their hd after a fresh format/ install?

Is it worthwhile to do?

I'm using Ghost.
Not to image the whole hdd though, just the systempartition.

It has been a real timesaver in several instances, when something went wrong..

Instead of re-installing windows agagin and again, and looking for the drivers of various pieces of hardware (taking about 2 hours...) I just use ghost, which overwrites the system partition, ... and voila an almost clean install :D (in 15 minutes)

Would go on with life without it... There is no substitution and no reason not to have it. The ultimate in piece of mind.

Word of warning though. After buying ghost I became totally reckless with my PC. I'd install/download/run anything because I could always go back to my most recent image!

Nah, I don't use Ghost on my personal rigs. My hardware will generally change more often than my system is reformatted, so it's nice to have a fresh install with new drivers anyway.

I have Ghost 2000 and I love it. I just back up my partition and when I have a problem I just over write with Ghost and I'm done. I back up my partition about every 2 months to CD. You can image to another drive if you don't want to use to do it to a CD. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Have a good one.
