Norton Ghost ate my computer

All has been running well with my new rig. I installed norton ghost 15 to make a ghost drive(i've never used it). well i decided to uninstall it and proceeded to add/remove. selected it and it took its sweet time uninstalling. prompted to reboot, i proceeded.

i've been hung up at the loading windows screen since. safe mode doesn't work either. what the fuck did norton do to my computer?
