Norton Ghost and SSD

Does anyone know exactly how Norton Ghost writes to a ssd?

Looking to ghost image a 128gb ssd with single partition with 25gb of data.

Obviously the ghost image will be 25gb and the partition info will be 128gb.

*** So when doing a restore. Does ghost just write just the 25gb back to the ssd or does ghost write the whole 128gb to the ssd?

This was a none issue on traditional hard drive because write cycle did not matter, however with ssd, write cycles do matter. Do not want to waste unnecessary write cycles.

It only writes the 25Gb with a standard hard drive, don't see why an SSD would be any different.

Can you imagine how long an image or restore would take with a 3TB drive otherwise?
