Ok guys... I have read the faq and the help and everything I keep seeing points to using the retail CD to boot from first and then use your restore image.

What I want to do is have a bootable restore CD, pop one CD in, reboot, and ten minutes later the machine is restored.

Can this be done or am I loosing my mind?

Thanks in advance.

this is what I do Partition my hard drive so I have the OS on C: and then make another for the Ghost 9. Image and then I boot from the CD and restore the image from the D: partition no troubles, but it takes about an hour to get everything back up and running.

it saves alot of hassels of reinstalling Windows, SP2, Drivers, and Programs and games !

Yes it can be done. It can be a little tricky to set up but as long as your image is small enough to fit on the cd with enough room left for the Ghost executable and anything else you may need it can be done.

oops sorry, I didn't see you wanted it to boot from the restore CD, I've made an image on a DVD-R but I always just used the Ghost 9 CD then switched to my image after I booted up.
