norton ghost 2k1 keeps on making corrupted images...please help

i run ghost 2001 to make an image of my win2k partition in ntfs, problem is after the image dump, i go and try to check the image and ghost tells me its corrupted, i scanned my HDD to make sure the drive itself is not corrupted, repeat and same thing again, please help

Have made many images. Never had an image check indicate a prob.

This will bump u back up. ^

I'd be interested to hear what u find (Symantec sppt?).

Perhaps there's a prob running the app from W2K (I always image from DOS), or with NTFS (even tho Ghost 2001 sppts NTFS). I've never used NTFS.

Try booting from a boot disk and running Ghost from there, if you haven't done so already...

If ghost keeps giving you bogus images, try using a different program. Image Cast 3 provides really quick transfer speeds and is pretty easy to use. Free demo too, with most of the functionality retained. I used it on my machine that runs win98SE with no problems.
