Norton Ghost 2003 Problem - SATA Drives

At work today, my Dell GX620 systems wouldn't image and locked up completely.

Hardware:

Dell GX620, 512mb RAM, 80gb HD, P4-3.6
Iomega External USB 120gb HD (for images)

Tried:

1. Tried the MS-DOS boot diskette route versus the PC-DOS boot diskette
2. Went to both Websites: Dell & Symantec
3. Tried the switches -noide, etc..

Want to:

1. Return to Windows XP intact (without booting back to PC or MS-DOS) and computer keeps going back to Ghost Startup Screen.
