In a case like this you want to cover your bases.
Do you have two spare HD's you can use for a test? Image to one and restore to the other and see if it boots.
Where you might run into problems with this "test" is if your drives are a mix of SATA and IDE. Driver (or chipset) support by the app is the key here I believe.
I have had nothing but bad experiences with older versions of Ghost and have stayed away from it since. Newer versions may work very well, I can't say, but this is why I suggest testing it out first.
