norton av 2005 trashed win xp pro

Norton AV Sux. Use a good free one like Antivir, BitDefender, or AVG.

Edit: Yes go for a full reinstall if ur getting a lot of errors. Norton has a bad habit of leaving random bits of software behind.

XP Pro itself does not have so many erros but NAV 2005 does.

now I realized after I am about to fresh install xp pro i don't recall if oem xp pro have cd key because i can't find cd key come with it????

Personally I use Avast! ... I think thats good enough. However, I heard antivir is good. However, haven't tried yet

Using Avast and it's good.

Planning to use SAV Corporate edition from my uni the next time I install WinXP.
