Norton AV 2002: Why can't I enable automatic Live Update?

I'm using Windows 98se and IE 6 and NAV 2002 (and also use "selective startup"). I can run live update independently, but I cannot enable the automatic live update setting. Have I deactivated task scheduler somehow or what's the deal? Thanks.
 
I can't run it on my xp machine either but that is because I don't run under a admin account, spose that doesn't apply to 98 sorry.😉
