I have Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition v.8.1 with scan version 4.2 recognizing 70223 which is the latest virus signatures as of 7/20/2005.

Now my question is this is a Corporate Edition version and I read that they're only intended for Enterprise and not for home use.

By using this product at home, am I being vulnerable? should I immediately switch to product intended for home use?

Thank you in advance.

Hmm?

It is sold to the public, but most people acquire it from their office.

example: Symantec Antivirus 10.0 Business Pack

Yes, you can use it as a standalone scanner, but there are better options out there. Just like it's little brother, Norton Antivirus 200x, the detection rate is inferior to Kaspersky.

Because my company gave me a licensed copy for home used for servicing my country :)

And thanks for the responses guys. I will keep this AV but eventually will switch to the version 10.0
