Norton Antivirus: Auto-Protect Disabled: Unable to Open SymEvent

First time this ever happened to me. I rebooted my computer, and Norton can't enable Auto-Protect anymore. Everytime I try, it gives me the following:

NAV Auto-Protect
Unable to Open SymEvent...

Any ideas?
