Norton Antivirus and Upgrading by Downloading

Let first explain my problem.
I installed NAV2000 and make 5 dikettes 1. Emergency Boot 2. Program Disk and 3. Three defininition dikettes. Than I uninstall the NAV 2000 and copy all the diskttes (Making 5 sub directories as per its names) on one of my HDD partition (20GB HDD 6 Partitoons). whenevrer I need I run the navdx with appropriate command line. Know my problem is how to upgrade these difinition directories or diskettes.
 
I believe you would have to reinstall it again, each time you want to update.

Why don't you just leave it installed? You don't have to let it run at startup....just every now and then update it and the rescue floppies. You can still run the rescue floppies on whatever pc you want.

I am using tweakui so I can do any thing with windows settings but my question remain the same.. Is it possible to upgrade the NAV definition diskettes?
