Norton 2002 Pro and WinXP

I'm currently running 98SE and considering updating to WinXP.

I've assumed I can still use Ghost and Speed Disk functions if I install WinXP with FAT32 file type.

My question is what Norton functions I lose if I install WinXP with NTFS file type:
1) Speed Disk disabled for NTFS files?
2) Ghost image/retrieval functions lost with NTFS files?

Thanks for your assistance!

I don't think you will lose those options. The main thing you want to look for is the compitblity with XP. (i.e. NAV 2001) I don't see why it wouldn't be able to support NTFS, since XP is not the first to use this.

The 'lite' version of Ghost that is included with Systemworks 2002 is missing something that deals with NTFS support. I can't remember what it is offhand.

Thanks for your responses!

I have resolved these limitations for Ghost with NTFS files:
1) Can't save image files directly to an NTFS partition - since DOS is incompatible with NTFS.
2) NTFS image files can be viewed - but files can't be added or removed from NTFS image file.

I guess I should resolve limitations directly with Symantec support.

Thanks, guys!
