Beats me. Could be other reasons. I just hope the refurb case I got from them comes with the 5-1/4" bay rails.

yeah that price for the 2.26 for $200 is tempting but like barneyfife said they could've been returned for lack of overclockability

w00t, a chance to buy someone's else's failed overclocker that still works for the moment even after he shoved 5v at it with the retail heatsink to try to make it go.

Really though, these are bare chips, the 1.8 for $157 vs $161 for a retail boxed new one with free shipping? At least they knocked off $70 on the 2.26, though once you buy a HS/F for it you're looking at more like $50. Call the 2.26 a maybe, the 1.8 an iceberg.
