Beats me. Could be other reasons. I just hope the refurb case I got from them comes with the 5-1/4" bay rails.

yeah that price for the 2.26 for $200 is tempting but like barneyfife said they could've been returned for lack of overclockability

w00t, a chance to buy someone's else's failed overclocker that still works for the moment even after he shoved 5v at it with the retail heatsink to try to make it go. :)

Really though, these are bare chips, the 1.8 for $157 vs $161 for a retail boxed new one with free shipping? At least they knocked off $70 on the 2.26, though once you buy a HS/F for it you're looking at more like $50. Call the 2.26 a maybe, the 1.8 an iceberg.
