What's the general consensus of favorite i845D motherboard used for maximum performance from your 1.6,1.8,2.0,2.2A CPU's?
Which board do you find overclocks best? Post your overclocks, settings, and general thoughts on your Northwood overclock.

I did a system build for a friend with a 1.6A and Abit BD-7. Got the CPU to 2128MHz (133x16). System is stable, haven't tried tweaking it farther to get higher overclock. Default voltages, retail heatsink.

Abit TH7II. Ocs just as good as 845-D based Asus P4B266, uses RDRAM so it'll be faster not only at stock but at overclocked as well. I personally would go for it, but if u insist on DDR, then Asus P4B266 would be my pick.

If you want good overclocking potential and great performance without spending lots of $$ go with the MSI 645 Ultra. NewEgg is currently selling the board for $74.00. Add a 1.6 GHz Northwood for $148.00 and you have a cheap system that should OC to 2.0+ GHz.
I would not waste money buying Intel's faster speed bin processors. Yields on the Northwood are good enough that everything is doing 2.0GHz or more.
The low cost 1.6A was released to put some heat on AMD who currently owns the 1.33 to 1.5GHz market right now.
