Shame that your current board won't let you go up over 156fsb, that 2.4 of yours seems to have a lot of headroom left! 😱

Are you going to see how far it will go with the P4T533 or is that mobo solely for your new 2.26b?

That's some impressive mem numbers...all of us here are trying to get it pass 3000pts..and you are couple points away from 4000 points...so what are your mem settings? x4 or x3? it should be x4 right since you have pc1066 rimm

I will try the 2.4b and 2.26 in the Asus board. I also have a 2.53 lying around here that might go in. I am running the RDRAM at (x4). If I could get to 158 then I would break 4000. I doubt the Samsung R4200 will do much better but who knows. Off to the airport.....

What is that equal to - around a 1.9ghz athlon?

Now I like amd...But lately these amd guys are just being idiots...thread crapping morons...

Jealousy????

Go to www.tomshardware.com and see where the 1.913ghz xp he oc'd from his 2200+ t-bred and see where it hits compared to the upper p4 ocs...Now he is running ddr but the bandwidth scores are right there with pc1066 so against the high ocs at toms he may take a 5% hit with ddr in ceratin test...

BUt he lays waste to an athlon at 1.9ghz or likley even 2.0ghz+...LOL

Big Lar has been running his 2.2 at 3035 @ 1.82V for a month or more using PC1066 on P4T 533-c... so that 2 week theory hasnt proved itself out with him.

That chip will be dead in no time.

Come on, whether his chip (or my chip) burns out early or not, you gotta push the limits!
Have a blast, enjoy the experience. Even more than being a great value, these Northwoods are
turning out to be the most fun to work with ever!

"That chip will be dead in no time."

LOL! This cpu will be running for a long time, just because a few peeps have blown thier cpu's, dosn't mean they all will go to seed at 1.8v! I've been overclocking a Longggg time, and have yet to blow a chip from voltage. 😉

incredible...bingo13....can you run 3dmark2k1 se? if so please do so...i want to see the increase in performance with such high memory bandwidth...
congraduation, you broke 4000, in fact, 4100+...but i see you are using 2x instead of 4x...am i wrong?
also, notice it stated max memory bandwidth is 5248 MB/s...but you are only getting 4125 MB/s...🙂

under DDR setup, with my current spec...i get ~3000 MB/s, take or give 10pts...and max bandwidth is 3200 MB/s (ddr400)...so i didn't really loose that much from theoretical results...

SupermanCK,

I will plop a Ti4600 in the system and run the benchmarks. I have been using a Ti4400 in this system for the burn-in period. This board is the Asus P4T-533 and uses the new 32bit RDRAM (r-4200). I had the system up to 168fsb last night for a couple of hours and then Prime95 failed. I guess it would be a good setting for benchmarking. 😉 Regarding 3dmark2001se I only use the default card settings except I disable v-sync. I do not utilize the various tuners in order to improve Game4 benchmarks or other areas so my scores are usually lower than most.

later....
