I have a classic Athlon 600 and Fic Sd11 motherboard. I installed the GDF. I get a black screen. I then have to kill the power and reboot into safemode to get it up and running again. I have tried reseating it several times and even tried running it at 600 with the same results. Anyone have any ideas. I have e-mailed Northwind support but they have not responded so far. Thanks!

Hmmm, is your FSB back to its default of 100 MHz in your BIOS? I have the same GFD, and encountered the same problem. Turns out that I had forgotten to reset my settings to the default, I had previously been overclocking by upping the FSB.

And what's your voltage? Also, try playing around with the multiplier settings, go up or down in .5x increments until it posts successfully.

i've got the same problem with the same board, same chip, and same GFD. the only way to get it to post is to remove the GFD. any voltage, and multiplier setting. this board doesn't have any tweaks in the bios for voltage or FSB... any other ideas? Donuts... you get yours working yet?
