I'm meeting with someone over at Northwestern Mutual on July 3 about possibly working there when I get out of college in 3 years. I'm only 20 but have worked in technology for nearly 5 years. I've been a college student for 2.5 years working on my 3rd and will soon begin focusing on my major (I've been on/off full time and have done gen ed courses thus far).

I haven't decided on a career path yet, and want to keep my options open. The real goal here is obvious, the working conditions/pay/benefits I would expect to get working for this company after I graduate. I'm going to ask them questions about where they think the market will be in 3 years and what positions they think would be the best place to start looking into.

I'm going to be coming up with some questions to ask this person when we have our meeting but I know I'm going to overlook a bunch of things, so I thought I'd come here and ask yall for advice on what I could ask Northwestern. I'm not hell bent working for them, I just want to have a clear path in front of me. I'd like to be starting out well ahead of the game, a higher salary, better working hours/conditions etc. I want to prepare as much as possible before I make that final decision.

So, what would be a few questions a current college student with no real decision on a business major could ask a big corporation in order to ensure a successful future there?

3 years is too early to be lining up any job after school. What if your major changes, school takes longer, drop out, etc.
