Northern women versus southern women

Is it my imagination or are southern girls a lot friendlier and easy to talk to than northern girls?

I was just down in Louisiana for a week and the difference I noticed was amazing.
 
people as a whole are more friendly in the south. I lived in south Georgia for 7 years, and if you asked someone how they were doing, you had better planned enough time to listen to the whole story.

Well, I'm a southern gal, and I think southern people are more friendly than northern people. That's just an opinion though.

I'm from the Northern Bitch Woman Capital of The Universe: AKA New York City.

I have been in south TX since 1994. I can say w/o a doubt that southeren women are friendlier, nicer and easier to get along with. However, on the whole they aren't as intelligent or "quick on the draw" as women from up north.

This is sexist, but screw it. Southern women also know their place a lot more than northern women.

In today's society, "taking care of your man" (no sexual innuendo intended) is a lost art. Some women down south still remember how to do that. Northern women forgot how to do that 20 years ago.

My two cents.
 
The same trend applies to California as well. The northern/Bay area women are always angry and smell pretty bad, while the SoCal girls are beautiful and friendly. This really does go to support that there is a direct correlation between looks and personality (speaking in generalities here)
 
That's one stereotype that I've seen blown away since moving to NYC. Girls here are just as friendly, if not more so than back in New Orleans. I think it's mostly because there are so many transplants, though.

It's the transplants. Women born and raised in NYC are bitches thru and thru. They'll empty your wallet, drink your liquor, steal your car and then cuss you out b/c you forgot to fill the gas tank.

Seriously, I've dated plenty of both northern (NYC/CT/NJ/DE/RI) and southern (TX/MS/OK/LA) women and on the whole, there is no comparison; southern women rock.
