Northern lights to be visible even down south tonight

May be worth checking for those of you in affected areas. I have to work tomorrow.

I might stay up late anyway just to check it out as I imagine they'll be quite intense here too. Too light out now. KP index is at 7.0 though.

Finland is probably going to get a pretty awesome show actually according to the map on my phone app. Right now it's not actually hitting my area. Crazy how they can predict this stuff though, like I suppose later tonight it's going to completely cover a larger area.

Coming closer, based on map. Going to give it another hour and then go outside to check it out. I don't see anything yet due to light from sun set. At this time it's even hard to tell if it's sun, or other source of light, as it's rather feint. Really, 2am is optimal as sun is completely gone, but I really can't stay up that late.

Nothing here yet, but nice clear sky and view of stars. I really need to go to bed though. If I could see them from my back yard I'd consider leaving my camera out in time lapse mode, but I can only see them from the front yard and would not want to chance it from theft. Rain could also be an issue, it can go from clear skies to pouring rain in a matter of minutes here.
