Aggressive driving isn't bad driving.
People down south and west drive like crap.

I got flipped the bird in NC cuz I had the right of way when I was travelling like 40 and didn't let some guy from an offramp across the street turn a left to merge.

Californians are no longer welcome up here. ;)

Anyway, I know this article has to be a lie because I know that Washingtonians are the worst drivers in the world, with Oregonians the second worst.

Like I said in a traffic school. Knowing the rules, and ignoring them, are two different things.

I found that RI drivers are the worst. They turn without turn signals, cutting people off in the process and flip you off when you dont yield to them.

Texan drivers are pretty good. They stop in the middle of the road to allow pedestrians to jay walk practically.

I've lived in and driven extensively both places, and I'd say the exact opposite.

NY drivers are aggressive but generally much more skilled than those in WA. WA drivers have the WORST lane discipline of anywhere I've ever lived, and pass on the right more than they do on the left. Moreover, considering that it rains nearly half the year in western Washington, they are amazingly unskilled and tentative when the roads are wet.

Ha!

While I think the Seattle drivers I put up with everyday are incredibly awful, it pales in comparison to Oregon drivers. Granted I've only driven on I-5 through the whole state 5 or 6 times, but man oh man, passive agressive jerks.

I'd have to agree. I would love to mount rockets on my car and go James Bond on some of the buttheads driving around up here. :)

"No...it's not okay to have your right turn signal on and turn left from the far right hand lane!"
"You do know that red means stop...right?" :|

I agree. The problem here in Seattle is that people will not make decisions, instead they let other drivers dictate it for them. I also agree on the lanes. Anytime I drive on the Lake Washington 520 bridge, there is undoubtedly 7 to 8 cars that are 75% in one lane, and 25% in the other. Add to that the overbloated hummers on that bridge, and it's awful.
