Northbridge/Southbridge and Arctic Silver

I was thinking of replacing my noisey motherboard north/southbridge fan with this heatsink.

However I started thinking, do I need to reapply the thermal paste every year for a chipset heatsink? It would make it a hassle having to take the motherboard all out again in order to get the northbridge cooler out.

I had actually thought of trying the Thermalright Chill Factorthermal paste (it has reviews saying it cools a little better than Arctic Silver 5) But on the Thermalright site it says to reapply it every 12 months for best results.
