Northbridge heatsink question

Hello,

I am just getting ready to install my new chaintech vnf3-250 mb. I decided to add Zalman ZM-NB47J northbridge cooler; after removing the factory heatsink, I put the Zalman on the northbridge chip, only to notice that the Zalman does *not* cover the entire northbridge -- two "stripes" are left uncovered to the left and right of the heatsink.

Will this cause any sort of problem?

It may or may not. It depends on the percentage of the chip that's exposed and the temp/cooling of your case. I'd say boot it up and do some benchmarks, cautiously.
