To start out, hello everyone! I am new to this forum, but I have been around the block. I have one simple question. If you view my system... My System you will see it's a pretty simple one, not alot of jazz, but it does the job. I am not too concerned with cooling, my stuff usually never runs over 85 degrees F. Buttttt... I am one of those people that just has to do things to do them. So here goes...

Will a northbridge cooler help/hinder/do nothing to my system? The northbridge already has a pretty hefty aluminum heatsink on it, but I just strapped on a little 3,000rpm or so processor fan to the sucker. What was the point of this, I don't know, I hope you can tell me. Well, thanks for any and all responces!

Active NB cooling is only necessary when doing heavy overclocking which it seems you're not so you can probably take off that fan if you want. Welcome BTW :)

It can't hurt, if you don't mind the added noise (if any) I'd leave it.
