northbridge chip watercooler Question.

I am not sure I did notice that Asus placed a rubber mat under the stock fan on the northbridge chip and I was wondering if that was supposed to be removed when installing the Danger Den Maze4 for SLI boards. I kieep getting 60C+ under load on the chipset. I was told this is actually too high for water.. the CPU stays under 50C as well as the 7800GTX on the water is under 40C under load.

Ideas?
I guess it could be loose it could be that it does not have enough AS5 on it or the opisite, too much

Ideas????

please let me know
If you can please forward responses to my work email at Wrice@pdsnow.com It gets to my blackberry instantly and I am not going to be near my laptop for a bit.
Thanks

Really would like to know how to better reduce heat under load.. 60C is too high I have heard and I cant see why it climbs so high

Is your northbridge on a separate loop, or do you have the heat from one of the other components running over it? Could be too much AS5. Does the water block feel warm to the touch? If not it is probably not making good contact. Is the rubber mat you were refering to sitting between the waterblock and the northbridge, or getting in the way of the water block in any way?
