Other than that, they currently do not have capabilities to hit NY, and only have untested missle that may be able to reach the west coast.

*yawn* Their whining is getting sooooo old. Here's an idea...to save forum space/bandwidth, let's try posting a new announcement every day that N. Korea does *NOT* threaten the U.S. That should reduce the number of NK threads to around zero... 🙂
 
Ya know what? If we nuke them completely off the planet, they won't really be able to launch anything against us.
 
NK is not a direct to the US for the time being. They do seem rather insistent on getting our attention at a time when it might be wise to STFU. Frankly I am at a loss as to what should be done, nor can I begin to guess what real potential for damage they have. I dislike mysteries with nuclear weapons.

In that case I dont think China would wait too long before erasing west coast

Heres how i think it would go down - US bombs NK, NK nukes LA,SF and possibly Seattle (depending on how many nukes they have), US erases them from the maps, China will probably attack most of the military installations nearby as a revenge for the all the radioactive fallout they'll be getting in next couple hundred years.

American people would be upset because off all the casualities caused by china (since NK is outta picture), president wont be able to do anyhting looking at the mutually assured destruction and we will witness ColdWard 2.0 (tm)

On the side note, how exactly are koreans planing on getting to NY ?
 
Coming from such a distance... couldn't the US some how shoot down the nuke with another missle out in the pacific ?
 
even though these are just threatening words it shouldn't be taken lightly especially when it deals with nuclear weapons.
