I have a bunch of color images that I'm making grayscale and fading. They're going to be grayed out thumbnails.

Since there are a lot of pictures, I want to just use an action script, but each picture is a has different brightness and contrast.

Making them grayscale is easy, but is there an easy way of making them fade to about the same level of contrast and brightness? Thanks in advance.

Do a Control-M and adjust the gray curve as desired using this tool.

Before applying your curve to the image, click Save to save it as an Adobe Curve (*.acv) file.

Load up as many images as you want, type Control-M, click Load, select the file you saved, and apply it to the image by clicking OK.

You can probably automate this process using the Actions tool (Window menu > Actions), but I haven't tried it.

Hope this helps! :)

Sorry I just reread your question and you mentioned that each picture requires a _different_ curve. In that case this procedure may not work for you. ;)
