Normal K8N Neo2 Platinum behavior

Is it normal for the Neo2 to not start up after your overclock fails, and the only way to get it back on is to reset the CMOS jumber on the mainboard?

That's happened to me. It depends how much, and what you OC. The BIOS doesn't seem to recover the OC if you have your RAM latency set too low though.

Example: If you set your RAM to 2-2-2 1T, and your RAM can't do that even at 333MHz, you'll need to reset the CMOS.

Agreed, thats about the only thing i have to reset the cmos for if i get too aggressive.

Other than that , if it doesnt boot, i just wait and it will eventually boot with defaults so i can try again. 😉
