When's the last time someoen in your family had a checkup? Mention to the doctor that you drink that much and watch them faint. Try switching to Water. It's much better for you.

I drink maybe a can or two equivalent a day.

I find that highly abnormal. How about you show them some online literature about the health benefits of drinking WATER?

Soda is cheaper than water, and in the vast majority of the country, you don't want to ingest the tap water :p

Utter crap.

Tap water is perfectly safe. Safer than bottled water because it's regulated more.

And the vast majority of the country has fine tasting tap water.

I'd cut back on the drinks and replace them with something more nutritious.

Bullsh!t. The amounts in US tap water are completely safe.

And beneficial.

Or would you rather have cholera and rotting teeth?

This crap ranks right up there with the Aspartame nonsense.

BTW, bottled water is NOT as safe as tap. It's not nearly as regulated and often has higher amounts of chemicals and bacteria than tap.

Hell, more than 40% of bottled water IS tap water.

last time I brought up going through 2 2L a day people thought that was impossible. I have occassionally drank 8L plus water....

Just in alcohol I can put back 20 beers in a night and much more if we are out fishing on the ocean all day (along with water yes). A 6 pack is about 2L, so that's 8L just in beer.

However normal no. Many people actually don't drink enough for some reason.
