Normal for a family of 3 to go thru about 40L of coke every 3 days?

I just realize the massive amount of diet drinks my family consumes. My dad came home the other night with about 20 2L jugs of various diet drinks and 3 days later, we had exhausted the supply. I dont drink much, maybe about 3 cups of coke a day at the most. But my dad from the time he gets home does not stop drinking it, my mother always has a cup in her hand at home or driving.

So.... how much diet coke (generic term for diet soda) do you go thru in a day?

That's a LOT of sugar and liquid.

I'd cut back on the drinks and replace them with something more nutritious.

I just realized...40L = ~10 gallons, roughly, assuming 1L = 1QT

That means each one of you consumes slightly over a gallon of the stuff a day, if my math is right...that's a LOT.

I find that highly abnormal. How about you show them some online literature about the health benefits of drinking WATER?

My fiance and I bought a 12 pack of coke about 2 months ago and we still have about 6 left. Now beer on the other hand, I drink about the equivalent of a 12-pack per week (or faster) thanks to my kegerator.

Soda is cheaper than water, and in the vast majority of the country, you don't want to ingest the tap water 😛

Man, I could never imagine that. I already am unhappy with my teeth and that much soda would totally destroy them, even though I brush several times a day. That and it just can't be good for you. I try not to drink soda too much because it just makes you more thirsty and also I think I already get enough sugar.

You should replace it with gatorade or water.

how are your teeth? do cavities run in your family? i always feel like my teeth are being attacked when i drink soda.
