Here are the following things I have noticed after getting my new RMA drive and taking the old one out:

1. My Computer window lags when I drag it around with my mouse
2. When I click the mouse and make a selection area it lags
3. Minimizing/Maximizing/Resizing IE Browser lags

Not sure what it is but it seems like it's a Windows glitch??

Virus/spyware/adware/malware first and foremost. Multiple scanners such as Adaware/Spybot/Microsoft Antispyware/Antivir/AVG (which are all free) would be the first order of business. Next, I would make sure my overclock is stable with Prime95/S&M (both free).

Questions:
1. Are you having any freezing in games?
2. Are you having any BSODS?
3. Have you tried backing off your overclock?
4. Have you checked your psu rails with that configuration with a multimeter?

1. It's probably adware/spyware/malware.. everything I remove it, more comes back..do I have to run those programs everyday?

1. Games are fine, im running only 2.1GHz right now
2. No
3. 2.1GHz
4. Got a new RMA and I think it's fine

Did you reinstall windows? If so, did you reinstall your chipset and graphics drivers?

1. Not recently, but I did reinstall my HDD drivers recently

Reinstall your chipset drivers and your video drivers. For extra certainty, use driver cleaner pro

When you reinstall your chipset drivers, DON"T install the nVidia IDE drivers or the firewall.

THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I DID.. before I RMAed my old drive, I thought it was the IDE drivers, so I reinstalled JUST the IDE drivers..

Wow, even more problems.

I followed Driver Clean Pro's instructions and did everything, when I go and reinstall my Nvidia drivers, the computer crashes on it own.. it just randomly resets like it was unstable but the thing is NOTHING IS OCEd, im running stock right now...... it happens when I install the GART and SMBUS drivers.. I had to take those off and install ethernet only..

Everything was fixed but now the problem is back, dragging is slow, etc.

so you were never able to install any more of the chipset drivers than the ethernet? That's a serious problem. I would recommend a clean reinstall of windows.

I was told to not install IDE.

So I tried the first 3, GART, SMBUS, Ethernet, and my computer reset by itself.. then I just did Ethernet alone..

BTW, the lag/delay isnt present at the beginning of the bootup.. in the beginning everythings fast, fast forward 5 mins later and when I try moving My Computer, it's slow again.

First thing I would look through is your process list. When it is slow, Enter each one into google and see if you get any bad ones.

But not being able to install most of your drivers is NOT good. Next I would try a reinstall of windows over itself, not the best thing to do, but it sure is easier than a full format.

I just tried to reinstall my drivers again. This time I went thru the main installer and did Ethernet and IDE drivers only, it went halfway and my computer reset.. my internet works though so I guess it worked, but why does it keep resetting? Im NOT OCed!

BTW, I found that the lag I experience in MY COMPUTERS only starts after 1-2 minutes of computer usage.. when I first turn it on, the first 10-20 seconds it's fine, no lag at all, then after you use it awhile it slows down... so definitely somethings wrong.. maybe a service is corrupted...I ran all the stuff @ the Security sticky thread but it's stillt he same!
