Normal 12v voltage fluctuation?

My power supply's 12v voltage continuously fluctuates between 11.5 and 11.8 based on the Intel Active Monitor. What is an acceptable fluctuation? Is it possible I have a voltage drain which is causing the fluctuation? It is a GoogleGear case with 300watt power supply.

The spec on the 12V rail is +/- 10% or 10.8--13.2V. I like mine to be within +/- 5% which is 11.4--12.6V. Yours qualifies in either case.

Everything flucuates on my awesome Antec PowerSupply. Its just a problem when it fluctuates too much.
 
Mine fluctuates from 11.5 to 11.8 and then back down to 11.5 every couple of seconds. I have had two bad motherboards with this power supply, which makes me a little worried. Maybe it was just a bad batch of Intel motherboards and not the power supply....

I believe Intel specifies PSUs should hold at least 5%, not 10%.

I would not worry about it much, but if you do add more components or upgrade keep a close eye on it. Some PSUs just dont hold voltages well under any load, but most all start undervolting a bit as they become loaded down. That is likely what is going on with yours.

Your problem most likely is with the hardware monitor on the motherboard, which never gives you the exact voltages, but is useful as a guide only. If you really wanna find out if your 12v is weak, get out a voltmeter. I think your voltages are probably ok though.
