norelco Shaver 19.88

Nice find! I missed the last one. I don't mind the corded version either, it actually works better for me for travelling since I never remember to charge it up before I leave.

Anybody own one, and want to comment on how it works?

Went to Amazon looking for user reviews, and no user comments (slightly amused to see it at amazon for the same price, offered from J & R)

Iv'e used Norelco Tripleheaders for about 20 years and I love them.

You do have to give your face a chance to get used to them, they are different from other electrics and I have heard guys complain about skin irritation at first. But once you're used to them, they give a very comfortable, close shave and last a long time.

The only thing I've found that gives a closer shave is a blade. And Norelcos are generally very expensive, the replacement blades alone usually sell for about $25.

Speaking of which, where is the $20 Norelco on Amazon? I couldn't find one myself.

I used this type of Norelco for the past couple of years. While it good if you shave day to day, it will hurt you a bit if you have a thicker beard.

It seem like with Amazon, you can get it free shipping if U order $25 or over.

Why pay a $4.90 for shipping when you can add a $5 worth of something to get it free shipping?

No luck. J&R "lost" my order and they're sold out.

They offered me a "better model" for $60. Sounds like bait-and-switch to me.

Congrats to those who got them!

I have a question about electric shavers, I've wanted one for awhile, but I grow very little beard (I'm 40,but I have a bit of beloved patriot in me) just moustache, chin hair and scattered hairs on my cheeks and jaw, plus a bunch of that fine hair, because of this I don't really shave often and would love an electric. My concern is that they would get that damn peach fuzz hair on my cheeks and jaw. Would something like this works?

Thanx

I bought one from J&R and I used it every day since I got it last week. Love it!
