I purchased a Norelco Quadra 7 (7825XL) at Eckerds today. The price scanned at $29.99. The tag price was $119.99, but the lady who scanned it said it could be a closeout.

This is a very hot deal if it's really is closed out for $29.99.

Edit: This version came with a Mini Mag-lite

CONFIRMED- Just got one at the Eckerd's down the street. Cashier insisted that it was the price on the shelf, but I had her scan- $29.99!

And yes, CVS did buy Ekcerds, but kept a lot open under the Eckerds name and is even building new ones in my area.

Yeah this is hot, i just picked one up and pricetag showed 119$ and manager scanned it at 29.99$ + plus tax

not available at CVS, checked 4 in austin - tag prices were 89.99 and they rang up at 89.99 / 79.99 with a cvs card.

I went to 2 other Eckerd stores on my way home- no luck. One had no place on the shelf for the razor and the other had a place, but with another razor sitting there. I also went to 1 CVS and it showed $89.99 but was on a security peg, so I did not have them scan it.

This is obviously a big YMMV on finding one in stock, but this is a NICE razor- was going to give it to my father-in-law, but since I only found one, I am keeping it... heck, the replacement blades were $32, so this is a throwaway at this price :)

Dont forget to buy replacement blades on ebay or the internet. My father bought replacement blades for one of his norelco quadra razors from walmart for $30ish and he thought he had a good deal. Until I showed him ebay where they had a buy it now for $22 shipped :)

The experiances above seem to show that CVS doesn't have the deal. But let us know what you find out. BTW, are they even open tomorrow? (thanksgiving)

Thanks OP. But we don't have those here in SoCal so I was wondering if you could buy one and send it to me. I don't know how we'd go about that, but I'm game if you are. I'll even pay an extra 20$ for your trouble. Just reply if you want to.

edit: Nevermind bud, I just found this baby here for $50, shipped. So that's just as good. But again, great find!

HOT! Just went up to eckard, they didn't have any on the normal shelf, lady told me they have some others at a display model, so I looked on the bottom shelf and there were 2. Asked her to check the price for me: and her mouth dropped and she said "uh I think they are on sale cause it says 29.99". Too bad I only bought the one.]

It was marked 119 and the cashier couldn't believe it rang up at 29.99! She had to check with someone, and then "reserved" the last one for herself (stocking stuffer).
