not many people on here may know it but this is one of the best deals on a dvd player that can play dvd backups and personal movies burnt to a dvd. It supports DiVX and XViD.
 
Also if people are interested, this uses the same Chipset as the Philips DVP642. I was thinking of buying one as a backup in case, since some XviD files (very few) don't play on my DVP642. But did some research and found out they have identical decoders, so there shouldn't be any files one player plays that the other doesn't. Just FYI
