Did you ever ask the TV how it felt about you getting a PS2? At this point in time, your TV is probably feeling used, and you have to make it right. You may feel like you've got game, and that you are a playa, but one day you are going to need a good TV, and well...
Just take my advice, talk to it. Let it know that you made a mistake, but it won't happen again.
Make sure to push all the right buttons, don't use the remote control, go up and show it how you feel.
Make up TV watching is the best TV watching.
