Did you recieve a letter saying what to do if it goes down? I got it but lost it. I tried going to AT&T's online customer service center but it's down.

Rogers in Canada is distancing themselves from @Home and bringing everything in-house. One problem - they're more clueless than @Home. Email gies up and down like a yo-yo.

Yep, Rogers is a POS.... but lucky for us on the West coast, Shaw took over from Rogers around a year ago, and they doing a much better job than Rogers...

Woohoo! AT&T says they'll have me on their network within 14 days!

At least I can access stuff here at the University.

Heh heh. My library isn't that bad, they've got nice terminals with decent speed.

There's a few stories on Yahoo. AT&T and @Home appear fully divorced. 10% of AT&T@Home customers are now on AT&T's network and the other 90% will migrate over in the next 10 days. Comcast and Cox customers haven't been affected because their cable companies are in constant negotiations with @Home. The cable comps say that talks are going well, but bondholders say they aren't moving fast enough. It's all about money. Bondholders don't want to lose money and the cable comps want to minimize the expense, especially if they are going to ditch @Home in a few months anyway.

Me too, allthough I have always been on AT&T's network, since the Mediaone buy out.

I used to have TCA cable internet (local service) and it was bought by "Cocks". thankfully you got to keep your @tcacable.com email address, I would not want @"cocks"internet

I have heard AT&T talk about restoring service in Washington, California, and have restored it in some places in Canada....What about Illinois?! :(

Comcast @Home still up in AL. If I goes down I don't really care. I need something better to do with my life anyway and I can post from work.
