I am 23 and always had the feeling that i was going to go bald... since i was 17 years old i kept saying that i'm going bald, so now everyone thinks i'm joking.. Recently i've been loosing a ton of hair in the shower and all everywhere else.. So i decided to take 2 mirrors to check out the status on the top of my head.. and i will not forget what i saw for the rest of my life.. Scalp.. :( Any balding men out there?? what did you do when u first figured out you were balding? Should i go see a dermo?? Please help... i'm to young.. my life is just beginning.. :(

I'm 21 and I have my share of gray hairs. And I've had a crappy, receding-looking hair line since I was born, and thin hair. I hate my head.

How does balndess work again? You inherit it from your mother's side but it skips a generation? So if your mom's dad had a full head of hair, you will too? 'Cause all my mom's brothers are bald.

Join the club...thanksfully, i've only a slightly receding hairline. Nothing to do but shave it all off! (or Rogaine for life?)

start taking some propecia, that stuff works and hold out and hope that in a few years someone will come up with a better method,
either that or keep taking it until you find a hot chick to marry you then once married just go bald and get fat like most americans.

I have a big dilemma then.. I'm way to young to walk around bald.... and i can't really afford propetia and rogaine for the rest of my life.. and I can't shave my head cause if you saw the shape of it.. You'd understand.. its shaped kinda like an egg... Have you seen the movie cone heads.. i would look like that.. what do you guys think i should do?? i think i have a nother year or 2.. before i go completely bald.. Lets get this straight.. My mom's dad is bald, and her brother is bald.. my dad has a full head of hair, all his brothers do too, so does his dad, and his dad.. He never had any men go bald in his family.. I heard that baldness from the mom's side was just a myth.. or is that just wishful thinking??

not much you can do about going bald. propecia gives a lot of men "man boobs" and rogaine you'll have to use forever.

For any of you balding men out there.. u know its hard.. if not impossiblie to just let it go.. I heard that going bald was the most traumatizing experience of a healthy man. Sigh... So do you have to take propetia forever? since i still have a lot of hair left.. can't i just take it till the falling stops then stop?? And if it will give me boobs.. man.. thats a tough one.. man boobs or a bald head.. what would u pick?? boobs or no hair?

Or you could be be bold, be beautiful, be yourself, be bald. And I don't mean that in a teasing or derogatory manner. :)

Shave it baby. Looks cool and eliminates one more thing to pack when going on trips.


In my t-bag I keep soap, razor, deorderant, shower slippers, toothbrush and paste and asprin. Thats it.


Being a guy is cool sometimes.:)

Seriously, if hairs are leaving, you are either very stressed out, its hereditary, or you aren't being romantic enough...




And would it kill you to tell them you love them.... ?

Not for me I always hated hair and shaved it off several times in HS and college. Now though I have an excuse. I wish I was asian and had no leg and arm hair.

No hair of course.

Oh stop worrying about it. I'm 30 and I'm pretty much bald. I don't even think about it anymore. If it's such a big deal get a hair implant or wear a wig or something.
Oh and mine started about 22 or 23 also. You may end up being pretty bald by 30 also.

I've had people telling me that i was going bald since middle school (grade 7 i think) so i know i am, especially since my mom's side is bald
