Personally, I made a great mix CD of Radiohead songs that I think set a good mood.

She likes some Mazzy Star, too, and sometimes Portishead.

I had a roommate that would always put on a Mark Farina CD, and not any of his Mushroom Jazz stuff either.

from that band? they have two albums - much of it's very different from that, more like the postal service than justin timberlake (yes, that song reminds me of justin timberlake, but i like his stuff).. CSS is good (try myspace music - they have samples up).. mirah is ok... Damien rice if your girl is one of those dawson creek sorta people.. ugh.. figurine..arcade fire even..
