New test CM7 build has working pretty much everything. Bluetooth is better in particular, and sleep works. Look in the sticky thread for info.

Can you be more specific?

Sure, you can practically watch the battery meter count down while watching video, surfing the net, or doing anything that's moderately CPU intensive when the brightness is up and wifi radio is on. Realistically, I get ~3 hours of life under those conditions, and that's not great. On my iPad 2 I get 3x that much under the same scenario. Now, I know the NC's battery is much smaller, but that's quite a disparity.

Whoa...what ROM are you using? Anything else running that you don't know about? I run my NC pretty much non-stop for 7 hours browsing the internet or playing some stupid game with wifi on (don't know about the brightness) and still have 15-20% battery left. I'm running phiremod nook V6.2 (CM7.0.2 based) and Dalingrin's OC test kernel (042411) running @ 950 mhz or what ever the max OC is... My sister will play Angry birds for hours on my NC, in fact yesterday she played for 3 hours and there was still 65% battery left.

I suspect something may be amiss...the first "stable" release of CM7 had some battery drain issues, but I haven't experienced that once I went with 7.0.2...

I'm running CM 7.02 with Dalangrin's 1.3GHz OC kernel. When they get out a new full release with a 1.3GHz kernel I'll put it on, maybe it'll be better.

Gotta say, I'm running CM7 7.0.3 with that 4/24 1.3ghz OC kernel and this thing just flies. Since my PC died the other day this has been my main rig and I haven't been dissappointed. Even downloaded a song using the Amazon app and it works just fine. I'm not even in a rush to get the PC fixed lol. Is it some kind of blasphemy that a tablet fulfills all my computing needs?

I can't type on the Nook worth shit, so yeah... can't say I'd be as happy as you are 😛

I got a best buy gift card I need to use. I can't decide if I want to buy one of these now or wait for something better. Decisions...
